The monthly folio
The idea is to publish a small folio each month consisting of 3 to 8 pictures of a common theme. I intend to prepare these pictures to a high standard, and I will make sure they print well. I have not put any restriction on when or where the pictures are taken, nor on the subjects. The important thing is to present something each month. This means I may revisit old pictures, and I may use the ones I shot the day before.
I will present these folios in a number of ways:
- Web galleries. Low resolution images suitable for the ones with limited bandwidth or time.
- PDF galleries. Higher quality and much larger downloads. If you like the images, do download these files and keep them. I will not guarantee that they will remain for download longer than a year as they consumes much server space.
- In one or more printed form. Obviously this is mostly for myself and the ones visiting my home, but you may be able to convince me to send you copies, just ask. The printed versions may take the form of single sheets gathered in a folio binder, mounted photos in a folio box, or even hand made books. The final form will be decided from month to month, and I may want to develop my ideas regarding this as time passes.
