This little series started by coincident when I on one my trips in the forest, for no obvious reason, shot a picture right up through the branches overhead. And since I opened my 50mm wide open to f/1.4, which is not very typical for me, I got this very distinct look.

I liked the blurry abstract shapes I got when the focus plane was so narrow. Maybe you’ll see more of these shots in the future, I think this may be a project just started.
